RAP Tronic is involved in the education of the next generation of technical specialists as a BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) partner, offering free training for students in areas that will further help them in their professional career.
BEST is a constantly growing non-profit and apolitical organization. Since 1989, they have provided communication, cooperation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe. 95 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 32 countries are creating a growing, well organized, powerful, young and innovative student network.
BEST strives to help European students from technical universities to become open to the challenges of European engineering culture, thus developing their ability to work internationally. Students have the opportunity to meet and learn from each other through educational events and symposia. BEST’s priority is to bring all the partners from the Students – Companies – Universities triangle closer.
BTW (BEST Training Week) continues its mission to present topics of interest to Transilvania University students, by inviting experienced trainers.
Our colleague, Bogdan Urdea, Engineering Department Director, was one of the invited trainers at this BTW edition and he held the “Project Management Basics” seminar on the first day of the event.
Within the material, there were presented and discussed topics as:
1.What does project management stand for?
2.What project management methods are available?
3.Which are the most important skills of a project manager?
4.Which are the most important project management tools?
We are pleased to witness that such initiatives are growing in the Romanian local communities and we are honored that RAP Tronic and its specialists were invited alongside BEST to be partners in this event and to be mentors of this amazing generation of students.
