For the Beneficiary, the investment in the expansion project of the Olympus Dairy Plant included the following objectives:

• A vertical storage facility – High-bay, with a capacity of 32,000 pallets;
• Two refrigeration spaces (for storage and distribution) with controlled temperature and environment;
• Technical and administrative spaces;
• Exterior landscaping and internal road infrastructure.

The Beneficiary’s high-quality standards were perfectly aligned with RAP DEVELOPMENT’s meticulous attention to execution details, contributing to the success of this project.

The 15-month execution period (March 2023 – June 2024) involved the following works:

• Excavation and backfilling;
• Below-grade installations;
• Concrete works (foundations, flooring, superstructures);
• Roof and facade enclosures;
• Interior finishes and arrangements;
• Road infrastructure and exterior landscaping;
• Electrical installations (strong and weak currents) and automation systems;
• Fire detection and protection systems;
• HVAC, thermal, and sanitary installations.

Technical details of the project:

The total built area is 15,000 sqm, divided as follows:

• 6,000 sqm for the High-Bay warehouse;
• 7,000 sqm for refrigeration spaces with controlled temperatures between 2-4°C;
• 2,000 sqm for administrative and technical spaces.

The project involved:

• 190 bored piles at a depth of 20 meters, with a diameter of 900 mm, for the High-Bay structure;
• 23,000 cubic meters of excavation and 15,000 cubic meters of backfilling;
• 1,400 tons of reinforcement installed in 7,500 sqm of formwork, into which 17,000 cubic meters of concrete were poured;
• Over 500 tons of steel structure supporting 21,000 sqm of panels for facades, roofing, and refrigeration spaces;
• 7,000 sqm of concrete roads and platforms as part of the exterior works.

This logistics center was designed by Olympus to achieve the highest level of energy efficiency with minimal environmental impact, focusing on three essential components: construction, technologies, and operations.
